The solar snake repeller unit is effective at repelling snakes, by emitting a sonic pulse which snakes feel as a vibration transmitted through the ground. Snakes then perceive a danger zone causing them to evaculate the area.
The pulse is transmitted at approx 40-50 seconds intervals and covers an area of approx 700 sq. meters.
The repeller transmits its signals in all directions approx 15 meters, so they can be placed approx 30 meters apart in high risk areas. It is always recommended to use two or more units to get the best results. Place a unit close to retaining walls, rock gardens, old sheds etc. to drive snakes out from their hiding places and away.
The sentinel repeller works with a solar charged battery. The solar module runs the unit during the day and charges the battery, while night-time operation of the unit is enabled by the battery. Units will normally work perfectly even in partial shade.
